IEEE Corporate Innovation Recognition Nomination Form


IEEE Corporate Innovation Recognition, for outstanding and exemplary contributions by an industrial entity, governmental or academic organization, or other corporate body, which have resulted in major advancement of electrotechnology.

Nominator Guidelines

 

1. Name of Organization (if a sub-unit of the organization is being cited, please describe.):

 

2. Address

3. State succintly why this organization should be so honored. (It is suggested that this summary should be written after the nomination is prepared.)

4. Proposed Citation

The following format is for your guidance in the preparation of this nomination form for the "IEEE Corporate Innovation Recognition." Your nominee may qualify under one or more, or all, of items (5), (6), (7), (8) and (9) described below. Please use Pages 6 and 7, if required, to describe your organization's qualifications.

5. Describe the new concept resulting in the development of a new product, system or service, its innovative aspects, and how it has advanced the theory and practice of electrotechnology within its field.


6. Describe how this innovative concept and new product(s) have created a new industry, how they have revolutionized the character of an existing industry, or served to exert fundamental changes in the mode of living.

7. Describe how the development has served or is serving to precipitate changes in the industry, and the significance of these changes.


8. Describe how the development has been or will be applied to counteract obsolescence and be adopted as a next step for the future.


9. Please provide any additional information that may have been covered in the above points, but that you feel will reinforce this nomination relative to the contribution to the advancement of the theory and practice of electrotechnology.


10. Endorsers, Names, Addresses and Email. Endorsers shall be advised to include statements in their support letters regarding their familiarity with the innovative qualifications of this organization. (Minimum of three supporting letters required, maximum of five permitted. No more than five letters will be reviewed by the Committee. Letters may accompany nomination or be submitted directly to IEEE.)
