Nominator Guidelines

1. Name(s) and Addresses of Authors or Co-Authors:
 

 

2. Title of Paper
 

3. Publication and issue (Transaction, Journal, Magazine or Proceedings) Indicate volume number, month and year.  Please attach a photocopy of the paper excerpted from the publication.

4. Nomination Requirements: In order for the paper to be eligible for consideration, the following requirements must be met: (1) The paper must have been published during the period 1 January to 31 December for the year preceeding the year of nomination. (2) At least one letter justifying in detail why the paper is worthy of the proposed award must be submitted with the nomination. The letter may be prepared by the nominator or other knowledgeable individual. IMPORTANT NOTE: The nomination will not be reviewed by the Committee unless a letter of justification is supplied.

5. Additional Information: If you are nominating on behalf of an IEEE Technical Society or other IEEE entity, please indicate which entity.

6. Suggested Presentation Location. (Please provide an IEEE-sponsored technical conference or symposium.)

7. Nomination Deadline: Nominations are due 1 July of the current calendar year, for award in the following calendar year.

NOTE: The IEEE Awards Board reserves the right to consider any nomination for Institute Awards other than the award suggested when, in its judgment, the support and justification may more appropriately apply to other Institute Awards.
