IEEE Leon K. Kirchmayer Prize Paper Award
The IEEE Leon K. Kirchmayer Prize Paper Award was established in 1997 as the successor to the Browder J. Thompson Memorial Prize Award.
It was presented by the IEEE Board of Directors for the most outstanding paper by an author(s) under 30 years of age, at the date of submission of the original manuscript, published in any IEEE publication issued between 1 January and 31 December of the preceding year.
The last presentation of this award was in 2002.
