LMC should regularly encourage Life Members to look for and accept opportunities to volunteer in tutoring local school children in authorized after-school programs supporting reading and/or math literacy. Such help is needed nation-wide, and will have its good effects in the possibility of attracting more individuals, to professions in technology and science, who are well prepared because of challenge and inspiration shared by some Life Members.
LMC should review briefly once each year in the Newsletter the basics of the Re-Seed program and how Life Members can prepare themselves to participate as volunteer demonstrators if a program is established in a school district near at hand.
