IEEE is the world's largest professional association advancing innovation and technological excellence for the benefit of humanity.  IEEE and its members inspire a global community to innovate for a better tomorrow through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.  IEEE is the trusted "voice" for engineering, computing and technology information around the globe

IEEE is committed to the principle that all persons shall have equal access to programs, facilities, services, and employment without regard to personal characteristics not related to ability, performance, or qualifications as determined by IEEE policy and/or applicable laws.

To that end, IEEE previously worked with the United States Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) to allow, to the extent possible, unfettered access to IEEE programs and products for members and customers in sanctioned countries, particularly Cuba, Iran and Sudan.

IEEE continues to monitor United States OFAC regulations to ensure that our policies and practices comply with the applicable laws.

Questions about IEEE's OFAC-related policies and practices may be addressed to ieee-corporate-compliance@ieee.org
