IEEE & United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)

To that end, IEEE previously worked with the United States Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) to allow, to the extent possible, unfettered access to IEEE programs and products for members and customers in sanctioned countries, particularly Cuba, Iran and Sudan.  

IEEE continues to monitor United States OFAC regulations to ensure that our policies and practices comply with the applicable laws.
