Before They Were Nobel Prize Winners... They Were IEEE Authors

IEEE Authors Win Nobel Prize in Medicine
6 October 2003, STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- The 2003 Nobel Prize for Medicine was today awarded to two IEEE authors, American Paul C. Lauterbur and Briton Sir Peter Mansfield, for their discoveries in their field of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
