J.J. EBERS AWARD

NOMINATION FORM

(Submit by 1 July)

The IEEE Electron Devices Society invites the submission of nominations for the J.J. Ebers Award. This award is presented annually by EDS to honor an individual(s) who has made either a single or a series of contributions of recognized scientific, economic, or social significance to the broad field of electron devices. The recipient(s) is awarded a certificate and a check for $5,000, presented at the International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM).

Instructions: As the nominator, you will only need to complete the nomination form. It will not be necessary for you to submit a letter of recommendation. This is the responsibility of the endorsers. At least three letters of recommendation from three different endorsers is required, although there is really no limit to the number of endorsers. Endorsement letters can be sent to l.riello@ieee.org.

In preparing for nomination, please be sure to include specific descriptions and the impact of your candidate's contributions. This is why it is also important that you select endorsers who are very familiar with the candidate's work.

The deadline for the submission of nominators for the J.J. Ebers Award is July 1st. The completed nomination form and/or endorsement letters should be sent to :
