Dear EDS Member:
As incoming President of the Society let me welcome you in the New Year. Electron Devices Society continues to be vibrant with its members earning accolades in the global technical community. The latest of these was the 2009 Nobel Prize in Physics that was awarded to three of our past members Dr. Willard Boyle, Dr. Charles Kao and Dr. George Smith. We believe that many members of our society are involved in activities, technical and otherwise, that deserve to be recognized.
