We regret to announce the passing of Dr. William E. Sayle II, on Saturday, 2 February   2008.  Dr. Sayle was a dedicated IEEE volunteer who made outstanding contributions in   engineering education for the IEEE and ABET.  Dr. Sayle was a Professor Emeritus of the   School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology.
