THE IEEE BROCHURE

The "IEEE Executive Summary" brochure targets any audience, including potential members and members-employers.  The attractive 11x17 inch bi-fold IEEE Executive Summary provides a brief overview of the IEEE, explaining its mission, worldwide activities, technical activities, student programs, standards, educational activities, the IEEE History Center, IEEE awards programs, and the IEEE Foundation. Use it whenever you need to introduce the IEEE - for instance, when recruiting new members or making a presentation to potential supporters.  For copies of the brochure, contact: Back to top of page.

IEEE EXHIBITS PROGRAM

The IEEE Exhibits Market Program is designed to create a venue to recruit and renew IEEE members, to sell products like books and conference proceedings, and to move towards the IEEE goal of "doing business electronically."

Another aspect of the program, the IEEE Partnering Display Program, is designed to support conferences efforts and member recruitment. Organizers design their own displays and are provided with items such as IEEE brochures, membership applications, flyers, magazines, and Wiley-IEEE Press and/or IEEE Standards books or CDs, if requested.

Individuals who join the IEEE at any of these shows receive a free IEEE Society Membership for that year, as well as a promotional gift.

The Exhibits Program also offers a special incentive gift to all volunteers who organize meetings for the Partnering Display Program. Back to top of page.

TECHNICAL EXPERTS GUIDE

As an IEEE officer, do you ever receive requests from newspaper reporters or other local media about technical subjects that are in the news? If so, the IEEE Technical Experts Guide can help.

This easy-to-use resource lists contacts from each IEEE Society and Council who have agreed to serve as liaisons for media inquiries. Sources listed will either respond themselves to the inquiry or refer you to someone else who is qualified. The Guide covers nearly 500 science and technology topics. Free copies are available to Section representatives with public relations responsibilities. Copies also may be obtained for distribution directly to local journalists and broadcast reporters.
