Authors Outreach Program

Membership Development, in cooperation with the IEEE Publishing staff, contacts IEEE Transactions and Journals authors who are not IEEE members with an invitation to join IEEE. 

• Each month, approximately 100 technical authors are invited to join IEEE. 
• The logic behind the program is simple -- if they are qualified to be published by IEEE, they are qualified to be -- and should be -- IEEE Members.
• As an incentive to join, a one-year free membership to any IEEE Technical Society is included as part of the membership (this offer is not transferable).
• Many of these authors already belong to other professional societies but decide to accept our invitation and join IEEE.
