The Live Meeting Service was upgraded to the latest release, Live Meeting 2007 on 25 April 2008 between 9:00pm and 12:ooam EDT. This new version of Office Live Meeting will significantly improve many aspects of your online conferencing experience. New features include a redesigned user interface, deeper support for training and events, and a fully integrated multimedia experience that includes video, software powered VoIP, and rich media capabilities. Learn about new features. The upgrade is a two-part process ... Part I New Live Meeting software is pushed to your workstation. This will occur via IT's silent software delivery system during the week of 4/14/08. A new menu item for Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 will display when you go to Start/Programs, but you will only be able to access the service this way after the 25th if you have registered for, or were invited to attend a Live Meeting. Meanwhile, current users, please continue to access your meetings via the links and/or bookmarks you're already using. Part II The Live Meeting Service will be upgraded during the regular maintenance window: 9:00pm - 12:00am EDT on Friday 25, April. You will not be able to access your online conference centers during the maintenance window. It is highly recommended that you test your Presenter and Attendee accesses following the 4/25 upgrade and prior to scheduling or conducting new meetings. Live Meeting web conference activity will be suspended on Monday 28 April. This date is reserved to give you an opportunity to test access to your conference centers. Please do not schedule or conduct any online meetings for or on this date.
Will Your Access Information change? No. Your current access information including, URLs, Meeting IDs, and Meeting Keys will not be affected. Will any of your content be lost? No. Meeting content uploaded to your conference center, dial-in numbers, and recordings saved prior to the upgrade will be preserved.
