Guilherme Campos is an IEEE Student member and is studying electrical engineering at the Federal University of Bahia Brazil. He is currently in the fourth year of the EE program.

Guilherme is also a volunteer at his student branch in Brazil and is actively involved as a coordinator for the 2004 Region 9 Student Branch Congress. His current fields of interest are telecommunications and engineering management. He notes "this is something I really enjoy doing."He hopes that someday his professional contacts made through IEEE activities will help him develop his career and future business relationships after graduation.

When asked why he join the IEEE he replied "I am beginning my professional career now and the IEEE is opening a world of knowledge and opportunities to me."
