IEEE Signs National Society Agreements with Popov Society

IEEE President Joel Snyder recently visited Russia to renew the National Society agreement with the Russian A. S. Popov Society for Radio Engineering, Electronics and Communications.

Pictured at the signing are President Snyder with Vagan Shakhgildyan, president of the Moscow Technical University; Henrich Lantsberg, vice chair of the IEEE Russia Section and assistant to the president of the Popov Society; Pyotr Zoudkov, vice president of the Popov Society and others from the Popov Society and the IEEE Russia Section.

These formal agreements have enabled members of both societies to regularly participate in conferences, workshops and other events sponsored by each organization.
