The majority of titles will utilize the template for Transactions. Any title that does not follow this format will have its own template also available on this page.

Templates should be used for all Transactions, except for the IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, IEEE Magnetics Letters, IEEE Photonics Journal, and IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation

Templates for Computer Society Journals

These templates are only meant to aid you in preparing a draft of your manuscript for peer review. They do not and will not reflect the final format for publication. The published paper will appear as formatted by IEEE Computer Society publication staff.

  • LaTeX (TAR, 1 MB)
  • LaTeX (ZIP, 700 KB)
  • Word: double column text, which can be used for peer review and final submission (ZIP, 100 KB)

Template for IEEE Magnetics Letters

Note: If you are having problems downloading the compressed files (ZIP or GZ), try right-clicking on the files and saving them to your computer first. Mac users can take advantage of Safari's built-in decompression functionality. If you have trouble unpacking these files, make sure that you have downloaded the latest version of WinZip.
