IEEE Quick Start Training for Geographic Unit Leaders

Thank you for agreeing to volunteer your time and talent to fulfill the core purpose of IEEE, to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. The success of IEEE is dependent on your efforts.  You have an opportunity to make a difference in your community, improve your skills, interact with people in your area, and have fun.

Recognizing that you have volunteered for this position and that your time is limited, the IEEE Member and Geographic Activities staff identified a number of tasks that are important to address within the first 30 days of being selected.  

Before you get started, please make sure that your member record is updated correctly to ensure that you receive communications via e-mail and postal mail. In addition, you should make sure you have your user name and password of your IEEE Web Account.  You will need your IEEE Web Account in order to access information in your volunteer role.
