What positions are currently recorded in the IEEE Geographic Roster?

The IEEE Geographic Roster is part of the IEEE Organization Roster.  The information in this roster is restricted to individuals who have an IEEE web account and is based on their current Officer position or Committee appointment.  If your name is not listed in the roster, you will not have access to this information.

The data is pulled directly from the IEEE membership database, and therefore reflects the most current information available.  Updates and corrections may be made by the individual volunteer using his or her web account.  The corrected data will appear following the next "refresh" within two weeks.

The following positions are currently captured within the IEEE Geographic Roster for each Section.

Chair Industry Relations Coordinator

How does a Section Treasurer interact with Chapter or Affinity Group Chairs/Treasurers?

The Section is the administrative parent of a Technical Chapter and/or Affinity Group.  As such, the Section is responsible for ensuring that these units adhere to IEEE requirements.

The Section is responsible for providing the funding to the Chapters and Affinity Groups within their boundaries. As the Managing parent of the Technical Chapters/Affinity Groups within their geographic boundaries, the Section can establish processes/policies which facilitates the activities of these subunits.

In some cases, the Section Treasurer is responsible for issuing payments in regards to Chapter/Affinity Groups activities.  In other situations, if the Chapter/Affinity Group has their own bank account, the Section Treasurer acts as a resource for the Chapter or Affinity Group Chair/Treasurers.

The Section Treasurer is responsible for ensuring that the geographic units that report to the Section submit an annual financial report to the Section.
