Retrieving your Web Account Username

To access this service, you will need to have an IEEE Web Account already established. Learn more about IEEE Web Accounts.

You will also be asked to provide the following:

• your IEEE customer/member number;
• your first and last name as entered when you established your IEEE Web Account;
• your e-mail address.

To retrieve your username, visit the My Account section of the IEEE shopping area and follow the instructions below.

1. Click "Forgot Username" below the login field.
2. Follow the prompts, entering your information in the appropriate field; click "Next" to proceed.
3. You will be prompted to verify your identity. To do this you will be required to answer the security identifier question that you selected when you created your Web account.
4. Click "Next" and your username should be shown.

Your member or customer number can be obtained from a previous IEEE order summary or by contacting IEEE. You may also e-mail your request to member-services@ieee.org. A response will be issued in one business day.
