Search the IEEE Shop

Enter search term(s) and click on Search. From one text field, you are searching all of these critical data elements: Title, Subtitle, Acronym (eg, ICASSP or GLOBECOM), Description, Part #, Author, Standard #, ISBN, ISSN and Technology Area.

You can create a more precise search by using wildcards and Boolean operators.

In the search returns, click on the product title for a more detailed description of the product.

You may also add the product to your cart, or follow links for more information.

Refine a Search

To limit the items found in a search, you may filter by product type. After search returns present, select one of the seven categories presented (eg, Standards or Membership) and select Search.

You can create a more precise search by using these wildcards and Boolean operators.

Exact Phrases	Put quotation marks around the phrase. You can include multiple phrases. Be sure to use "double quotes," as 'single quotes' will not deliver desired results. Example: “power electronics”
Wildcards	Use an * (asterisk) at the beginning or end of the word. This wildcard will match any number of characters. Example: *ow* will find power, row, mowed, etc Use a ? (question mark) to replace a single character. Example: ?ow will find row, mow, pow
Boolean Operators	Use AND, and, & to find only items that contain both terms. Example: power AND electronics Use OR, or, \| to find items that contain either or both terms. Example: power OR electronics Use AND NOT to exclude an item that contains a term. Example: power AND NOT electronics
Proximity	Use NEAR to find only items that contain both terms, within X characters of each other. Example: power NEAR electronics
Complex Expressions	Use ( ) (parentheses) to group search terms and specify the order in which they are evaluated. Example: (power OR electronics) AND NOT electricity
