The IEEE established the
Electrical Engineering Milestones program in
1983 to honor significant achievements in
the history of electrical and electronics
engineering. Currently there are
more than 75 Milestones worldwide. In
2007 the History Center received a record number
of proposals, a total of
12. Yet, so many deserving
achievements go unnominated. To
assist you, we have listed some achievements
which will have significant anniversaries
coinciding with the 125th anniversary of IEEE
and which are especially suitable for proposal.
