IEEE Engaging the World is an e-newsletter created as part of IEEE’s Public Visibility Initiative. Launched in 2008, the initiative is designed to increase awareness of IEEE and the engineering, computing and technology professions among selected audiences and geographic areas around the globe.  

IEEE Engaging the World highlights hot topics, profiles IEEE member experts engaging the world, and reports on related IEEE events.
