IEEE Honors Ceremony

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – 22 June 2009 – IEEE, the world's largest technical professional association, will be holding its most prestigious event, the annual IEEE Honors Ceremony, on 25 June 2009, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, Calif. The event recognizes exceptional contributions that have made a lasting impact on technology, society and the engineering profession.

The ceremony also will honor IEEE student members who were selected as winners as in the inaugural IEEE Presidents’ Change the World Competition.  This is the first time students will be recognized at this annual event.

The IEEE Honors Ceremony also will be broadcast live on the Web through IEEE.tv starting at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
