Welcome to the Pre-university Education Coordinating Committee (PECC) web page. Below you will find links to information about PECC and IEEE’s efforts in enhancing the level of technological literacy of pre-university educators and students worldwide. In this role, the IEEE Educational Activities Board (EAB) works to promote resources and services to educators and students which will ultimately result in an increase in the number of students entering into technological professions.

It is the goal of the IEEE EAB PECC to address the need for a technologically literate citizenry in a growing technologically dependent society. The committee is working to forge relationships between engineers and educators and to develop collaborations between engineering and education professional societies, and industry. The definitive goal is to encourage students to choose engineering as a program of study and career choice.

Your comments, suggestions, and questions are welcome.

Sincerely,
Dr. Arthur W. Winston
2006 PECC Chair
