I. Introduction

This document describes the functions of, and processes used by the CTAA Policy and Procedures Subcommittee.

II. Subcommittee Members

The Chair and members of the Policy and Procedures Subcommittee are appointed annually by the CTAA Chair.

III. Subcommittee Purpose and Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this Subcommittee is to ensure that all written publications of the CTAA are up to date and consistent with the CTAA Charter. Its constituency is not only the Educational Activities Board and the public, but also the members of the CTAA itself. Specifically, that includes:

  1. Periodic review of the Charter.
  2. Periodic review of the Continuous Improvement Metrics document.
  3. Periodic review of all CTAA and Subcommittee policies and procedures.

IV. Review Procedure

  1. During any CTAA meeting, the Policy and Procedures Subcommittee members will note any actions of the CTAA that would impact the Charter, the Continuous Improvement Metrics (CIM) document, or the policies and procedures of any of the CTAA Subcommittees. In general, the CIM will be reviewed at every meeting.

  2. The Subcommittee will then provide modified wording for the document in question and submit it to the CTAA membership for discussion and approval, either electronically or at the next CTAA meeting.

  3. At the request of the CTAA Chair, the APC, or the EAB, the Subcommittee will develop modifications to any CTAA document consistent with a change in the CTAA charge or procedures. These changes will also be submitted to the CTAA membership for discussion and approval.
