The Conference continues and expands on
the work of 2001 Taking
the Lead: a Deans Summit on
Education for a Technological
World. The Deans Summit, the first
international conference of its kind,
was held in October 2001. It launched
collaborations on community outreach,
future teacher preparation, and
pedagogical strategies for engineering
education.
