This training session will be hosted on 23-24 October 2009 for IEEE members and NETL employees who are interested in helping bring increased emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math into their local schools. The session will provide tips and strategies on how to connect with local educators, participation in hands-on activities, talks from local educators, and resources to help conduct teacher in-service presentations. Registration for this workshop is closed. The TISP is a proven program that will aid teachers by leveraging the existing engineering knowledge and skills in the country towards improving teachers’ knowledge of engineering concepts.
