Faraday Lecture

The Faraday Lecture provides a realistic context for the work of engineers and the fascinating world of science and high technology, both now and in the future. It is a unique and spectacular educational event, organized annually by the IEE in partnership with a presenting body. The Lecture has a tradition of presenting cutting edge technology in exciting and interactive presentations. It was founded in 1924 to commemorate the life and work of Michael Faraday, whose work laid the foundation for many of today's advances in technology.

Note: The IET Faraday has superseded the Faraday Lectures, for more information please click here.
