PEERS -- Information for Educators

PEERS stands for Pre-university Educator/Engineer Resource Site. PEERS aims to help pre-university educators and engineers to work together to raise the level of technological literacy of all students.

Engineers, who use, develop and apply technology as a regular part of their everyday job, are in a key position to be valuable resources to the pre-university education community. Working together, educators and engineers can have a positive impact on the level of technical preparedness of future generations. To succeed, educators and engineers need to learn more about each other and what is needed to establish on-going cooperative alliances.

PEERS provides information to facilitate working relationships between engineers and educators, whether in the classroom or outside of it.
