A personalized Internet-based service providing education information to teachers, librarians, counselors, administrators, parents, and others throughout the United States and the world.

BUGSCOPE An educational outreach project designed to demonstrate that relatively low cost, sustainable access to a scanning electron microscope could be made available to K-12 classrooms. You can view magnified images of a Harlequin bug (Murgantia histrionica) or "A Dung Beetle, Imaged Live!"
BUSY TEACHERS' WEBSITE Provides teachers with direct source materials, lesson plans and classroom activities with a minimum of site-to-site linking.
CLASSROOM CONNECT This site is dedicated to learning through the Internet. It provides a set of links broken down by subject and grade level. G.R.A.D.E.S. is a handpicked selection of quality education-related Internet web-sites. DISCOVER ENGINEERING An interactive site for students to learn about engineering and practice designing solutions to engineering problems.

GREAT EXPLORATIONS IN MATH AND SCIENCE Great Explorations in Math and Science originates at the University of California at Berkeley. Great Explorations in Math and Science (GEMS) is a growing resource for the advancement of inquiry-based science and mathematics education. GEMS publishes over 60 teacher's guides and handbooks, offers specialized workshop opportunities, and maintains a national network of teacher-training sites and centers.
LEARNING NETWORK Explore K-12 materials, professional development, lifelong learning, or reference
LIGHTSPAN.COM A site for teachers, parents, teens, and kids, with articles on telecommunication in the classroom, contests, events, projects, an alphabetical site index, and an annotated list of all articles.
MATHCOUNTS MATHCOUNTS is a national math coaching and competition program for 7th and 8th grade students.
NATIONAL ENGINEERS WEEK The National Engineers Week site offers activities for engineers to plan with schools for this week (in February) as well as information on resources, competitions and products available for schools.
NATIONAL SCIENCE RESOURCE CENTER The National Science Resources Center is operated by the National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Engineering, Institute of Medicine, and the Smithsonian Institution to improve the teaching of science in the nation's schools. The NSRC collects and disseminates information about exemplary teaching resources, develops and disseminates curriculum materials, and sponsors outreach activities.
PBS TEACHER SOURCE For preuniversity educators, this is the first web-site to correlate each of its classroom activities to national and state curriculum standards. It helps teachers learn effective ways to incorporate video and the internet in the classroom. Offers subject, grade level and keyword searches.
SURVIVAL GUIDE FOR NEW TEACHERS First-year teachers talk candidly about their successes and setbacks, with a particular emphasis on the relationships they formed with their colleagues, university professors, and their students' parents.
TEACHERS HELPING TEACHERS This teacher-operated, free service offers lesson plans for teachers in all subject areas, a Guest Book where teachers all over the world ask questions and make requests of each other, and a set of important educational links.
TEACHERS@WORK This site contains links to every school subject from the Arts to Technology. It also contains teacher resources and a search engine.
TECHIES DAY IN SCHOOLS National Techies Day is an annual celebration for Technology professionals to acknowledge their contributions to our world. It's also a day to encourage students to consider technology as a potential career.
