In developing the presentation for
educators it is strongly
recommended that a hands-on segment(s)
be included. Increasingly
school districts are requiring an
application of knowledge learned
portion in all in-service programs to
qualify for in-service
points. This is an opportunity for small
group work to be included in
the program. Groups of 2-4 attendees
working on a practical
aspect of the presentation is strongly
encouraged. Handouts and
take-away supplies/models/materials are
very important to educators.
A PowerPoint presentation or the use of
overhead slides are both
acceptable.
The following is a suggested
presentation outline based on a
four-hour timeframe:

Introduction/background
(15 minutes)

presentation (5 minutes)
