How did IEEE find you?

I became involved with the IEEE at university (IEEE Student Branch of Passau/Germany).

Describe something that you did as a volunteer that you are proud of:

Being part of the advance of the GOLD idea within the IEEE, working implementing professional activities in Region 8.

How has IEEE nurtured you as a person?

Personal growth due to my interaction with a large number of people as well as the opportunity to try business methods in a "sandbox".

How has IEEE prepared you for your workplace?

Interaction with people in an international environment, exercise in working with people and coordinating/planning projects and topics.

What do you like most about volunteering with IEEE?

The international atmosphere and a network between young members to get things done; a network which grows into an international network of friends; the opportunity to influence organizational development and getting things done.

What do you find unique about IEEE?

The international environment, the volunteering opportunities.

Why did you continue volunteering?

It's fun and I learn a lot, I would no longer want to miss certain people.

Does volunteering help you to achieve your aspirations?

Sure, it's about all the friends made, the experiences we shared and the strengthening of the networks.

An IEEE friend who left an inspiring impression on you:

Young people with a job and family, but still motivated to bring in their energy, passion and intellect. Old people who still find the energy and passion to work in this and who are great in interacting with us younger ones without any prejudice.
