How to Claim the Unemployment Discount

Go through the steps to Join the IEEE or Renew your membership until it takes you to the IEEE Shopping Cart.
Look for the link "Claim reduced fees as unemployed, retired or minimum income" in the bottom of the screen.
Select "Unemployed" from the Discount Type drop down menu.
Click on "Apply for Discount" to display the adjusted membership dues and assessment.
