Every fall, each IEEE Student Branch will receive information from your respective Regional volunteers on the Regional Student Paper Contest. Improving communication skills is critical in any successful career. Students can help themselves by writing a paper on a technical or non-technical topic and participating in Student Branch contests, then a Section or Area contest and finally the Regional contest. The IEEE Life Members Committee generously provides funding for the cash awards in each Regional contest. Personalized certificates and cash awards of $800-first place, $500-second place and $200-third place are given at the Regional contests which are held in Regions 1 through 10 annually.

Listed below are the students who won the IEEE Student Paper Contest in their Region.  Congratulations to these students who won cash prizes, certificates and the great experience of improving their communication skills by presenting their paper in written and verbal forums. For information on deadlines and cash prizes, please visit the scholarships site.
