Rodeo Drive/Downtown Beverly Hills
Known as "the golden triangle" this is the heart
of shopping, galleries, and fine dining in
Beverly Hills. A 5 minute drive or 1 1/2 mile
walk.
Santa Monica Pier
Built in 1908 for passenger and cargo ships, the
Santa Monica Pier recaptures the glory days of
Southern California. The wooden wharf is now
home to seafood restaurants and snack shacks, a
touristy Mexican cantina, a gaily colored
turn-of-the-20th-century indoor wooden carousel
(which Paul Newman operated in The Sting), and
an aquarium filled with sharks, rays, octopus,
eels, and other local sea life.
The pier
is about a mile up Ocean Front Walk from Venice;
it's a great round-trip stroll.
Third Street Promenade
Three blocks of pedestrian only shops, cafes,
restaurants, movie theaters and street
performers in Santa Monica. Only three blocks from
the beach. A 20 minute drive or accessible by Santa
Monica Bus #5.
Mann's Chinese Theater/Downtown Hollywood
The Chinese Theater, which is undoubtedly the
most famous theater in the world, opened in
1927 with the premiere of Cecil B. DeMille's King of
Kings. Its courtyard includes the hand and
footprints of almost 200 Hollywood legends, as
well as the "walk of fame" where you can find
your favorite star's star in the sidewalk.

One of the world's largest collection of cars.
See everything from vintage classics to your
favorite cars from television and movies.
Los
Angeles County Museum of Art
With more than 100,000 pieces of art in
its collection, this is the largest
encyclopedic museum west of Chicago. View European
masterpieces, contemporary art, art from the
United States and Latin America, an Islamic
art collection, a comprehensive Korean art
collection and the Pavilion for Japanese art.
The
Getty Center
Sitting in the foothills of the Santa Monica
Mountains, this 110-acre complex includes a
museum, research complex and conservation institute.
The museum galleries are housed in five connected
pavilions, each with a different collection
focusing on European drawings, paintings, sculpture,
illustrated manuscripts and decorative arts, as well
as European and American photography.
Sony Studios
The location of the original MGM studios. They
offer walking tours Monday through Friday.
Reservations are necessary and space is limited.
Westfield Shoppingtown, Century City
Adjacent to the hotel, this open air mall boasts
over 150 fine shops, an extensive food court,
14 movie theaters and is anchored by Macy's and
Bloomingdale's.
