Wireless/Wired Infrastructure Access

Complimentary wireless internet access is customary for the Meeting Series. Here is the information you will need to get connected.

Where is wireless access available in the hotel?

Wireless Internet Access is available in all meeting rooms assigned to the IEEE.
Wired and Wireless Internet Access, provided by the hotel, is available in hotel guest rooms and in the hotel lobby. Wireless Internet Access is the lobby is complimentary. Fee for High Speed Internet Access is the guest rooms is US$9.95 per day, US$14.95 for two days or US$24.95 for three days (plus applicable taxes).

What is required for access?

Users must use their IEEE Staff or IEEE Member/Volunteers login credentials.
You must have an IEEE 802.11b/g compatible wireless card along with the proper drivers.
Software must be pre-installed on your laptop prior to your arrival to Los Angeles.

What do I need to know?

IEEE cannot guarantee the security or privacy of the computing systems connected to this service.
IEEE accepts no responsibility or liability for any consequences resulting from use of this Wireless access, including, but not limited to the use of e-mail, web browsing, FTP and VPN access.
Those who use Wireless Internet access do so at their own risk and bear full responsibility for their computer systems.
