  • Section Chair
  • Chapter Chair
  • Affinity Group Chair (GOLD, Consultant's Network, Life Member, Women in Engineering)

General Certificates of Appreciation are also available.



Eligibility, Selection, and Award Instrument
  • no nomination required;
  • the Section Secretary should notify the Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) Department of the term of office of the Chair;
  • MGA will automatically issue a certificate to the Chair when his/her term of office expires;
  • may also be requested by any Regional entity for special presentation;
  • recipient will receive a Certificate of Appreciation, signed by appropriate individual(s):
    • Section Chair - the President of IEEE
    • Chapter Chair - the Society(ies) President(s) and the Regional Director
    • Affinity Group Chair - the Regional Director
