Online Nomination Form (Deadline - 15 October)

To recognize those individuals who have exhibited exemplary and substantive leadership of an extraordinary nature in implementing activities which support the goals and objectives of Meeting and Geographic Activities (MGA) at the local, regional, national, and/or international level.

The accomplishments of the candidate should be of "significant performance" and should have made a distinguishing contribution to IEEE.

Eligibility

  • must be an IEEE member in good standing;
  • cannot be a member of the MGA Board or MGA Awards and Recognition Committee;
  • must not have received an MGA Achievement, Leadership, or Innovation Award within the last 2 years;
  • must not have received another MGA Achievement Award, Leadership, or Innovation Award for the same project/work.

Selection and Award Instrument

  • up to three (3) MGA Leadership Awards will be presented annually;
  • recipients will be selected by the MGA Awards and Recognition Committee and approved by the MGA Board at the November MGA Board Meeting;
  • nominees and recipients will be notified in December;
  • recipients will receive a specially engraved plaque emphasizing "Exemplary Leadership in Implementing MGA Goals and Objectives” and a US$500 cash prize.
