The IEEE Life Members Fund was originally established as the Members-for-Life Fund by the AIEE Board of Directors on 24 January 1944. The Life Members Fund is supported by the generosity of IEEE members. Since 1998, nearly 70% of the income into the Life Members Fund has come from the kindness of IEEE members. Over US$1M has been distributed from the Life Members Fund since 1998 to support the following: 24% -
