Understanding the IEEE

IEEE offers a wide variety of awards and prizes for achievement in engineering and allied fields and service to the profession (just a few are pictured at right). Recognition opportunities include Institute level awards and medals, Society awards, Women in Engineering awards, prize paper awards, service recognitions, regional and local awards, student competitions , student paper awards, IEEE Computer Society International Design Competition, and local events like robotics competitions.
