IEEE's offices extend the reach of the IEEE Operations Center in China, Japan, India, Europe, and Singapore with staff on the ground in those key markets. The staff is focused on identifying and implementing significant initiatives and increasing the visibility, influence, and impact of IEEE with major stakeholders, including academic institutions, corporations, government entities, and members. They work closely with Marketing, Sales & Design, Standards Association, Member & Geographic Activities, Technical Activities, Information Technology, Publications, and other entities. Each office focuses on specific priorities as identified by the organizational units and based on local market needs and opportunities.

IEEE's Asia offices extend the reach of the IEEE Operations Center in China, Japan, India, and Singapore with staff on the ground in those key markets.
IEEE Europe office activities
The IEEE presence in Europe is currently focused on public policy and standards. Activities throughout Europe increase the visibility of IEEE and promote the corporate and professional interests of IEEE in Europe. In addition, the office and staff located in Belgium provide a bridge to Europe for the activities of other IEEE departments.
