Global IEEE is a Section 8, not-for-profit company registered in India since 2010. IEEE India Philanthropy is one of the organizational units of Global IEEE in India, promoting technology for humanity. IEEE India Philanthropy strategically engages the community, volunteers, student volunteers, institutions, and implementing partners to transform lives through the power of technology and education in India. While we transform lives we also build future leaders through student engagement to continue the journey of ‘Advancing Technology for Humanity. 

IEEE India philanthropy supports the IEEE core purpose of fostering technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. To fulfill this role, IEEE India philanthropy relies on donations to fund new and innovative programs that support the educational, humanitarian, historical preservation, and peer recognition programs of IEEE.

IEEE India Philanthropy as the philanthropy partner of IEEE translates the value of members and donors into social impact and advanced IEEE mission across India. IIP connects with member-led initiatives with financing, expertise, and philanthropic guidance. Its goal is to put effort where philanthropy and technology intersect.

The investment of time, talent, and treasure from generous donors supports IEEE programs that improve access to technology, enhance technological literacy, and support technical education and the IEEE professional community.

Technology-based social solutions might look expensive but the ROI and SROI we are able to achieve through technology-based philanthropy activities are invaluable. It might be costly initially, but the ability to influence or impact several social problems, community outreach in terms of quality and quantity,  easiness of scale, and sustainability is not possible without technology.
