Introduction

Supplementary material may appear in one of two ways. In the first, the supplementary material is downloaded from the IEEE Xplore table of contents (Method 1). In the second, the supplementary material is accessed via links in the PDF file (Method 2).This application supports only Method 2.

Method 2

In this method there is a separate entry for each link from the main article or paper PDF file to the supplementary material.

Article/Paper File Name (Required): The complete name of the article or paper associated with the supplementary material. Includes the ending which must be “.pdf”.

Summary (Required): A summary of all the supplementary material associated with the article or paper.

File Name (Required): The name of the supplementary material file that is linked to the article or paper PDF file.

File Size (Required): The size of the file in KB or MB. The total size of the PDF and all supplementary material should be less than 10MB.

File Type (Required): The kind of file the supplementary material is. It should be one of the recommended types. If not the type should be pre-approved by publication.

Platform (Required): The computer system the supplementary material is designed to run on. Typical choices are All, Windows, Mac OS, Unix, Linux, etc.

Description (Optional): A description of a single linked to supplementary material file.

Title (Required): The title of a supplemental material file.

Person (Optional): The given name and the surname (family name) of each person who authored a supplementary material file.
