  • IEEEXtreme celebrates its 10th anniversary

IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE Student members—advised and proctored by an IEEE member, and often supported by an IEEE Student Branch—compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.
  • Give the gift of IEEE membership

IEEE membership delivers access to the industry’s most essential technical information and provides networking opportunities both locally and globally. Members have the ability to stay current in their chosen profession, connect with peers, and invest in their future.
  • IEEE MOVEs into action

IEEE-USA's MOVE vehicle recently deployed to aid recovery efforts for Florida residents after Hurricane Matthew. The MOVE project (Mobile Outreach VEhicle) sends IEEE volunteers to communities hit hard by natural disasters and infrastructure failures, providing technical expertise, rechargeable power banks, real-time survivor information, and Wi-Fi until services are restored.
  • IEEE Workshop on Advanced NeuroTechnologies for BRAIN Initiatives

This workshop will highlight the development of novel electronic and photonic devices and techniques for experimental probing, neural simulation studies, and the design and development of human-machine interface systems, artificial vision sensors, and neural prosthesis that have significantly restored and enhanced the impaired sensory functions and motor systems.
  • IEEE AI & Ethics Summit 2016

The IEEE Summit "Artificial Intelligence and Ethics – Who does the Thinking" will bring together a broad spectrum of leading voices in the artificial intelligence space, including technologists, legal thinkers, philosophers, social scientists, industry, and European policymakers.
  • ICRC 2016

Discover and foster novel methodologies to reinvent computing technology, including new materials and physics, devices and circuits, system and network architectures, and algorithms and software at the IEEE International Conference on Rebooting Computing.
  • IEEE Day 2016

IEEE Day celebrates the first time in history that engineers worldwide and IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884. This year's theme was “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow.”
