Join the IEEE Connected Vehicles (CV) Technical Community and Help Create the Next Generation of Vehicles

The connected vehicles ecosystem includes applications, services, systems and technologies that connect a vehicle to its surroundings. A connected vehicle includes the different devices (embedded or portable) present in the vehicle, that enable in-vehicle connectivity with other devices present in the vehicle and/or enable connection of the vehicle to external devices, networks, applications, and services through V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) and V2I (vehicle-to-infrastructure) communications. Applications include everything from traffic safety and management, big data for transportation, infotainment, parking assistance, roadside assistance, remote diagnostics, and telematics to self-driving vehicles and positioning systems.

To bring clarity and disseminate this information globally, IEEE has launched the IEEE CV Technical Community, with membership comprised of those involved in research, implementation, application and usage of connected vehicles technologies, applications, services and systems.

Membership in the IEEE CV Technical Community is complimentary, and you are invited to join and participate.

As an active member of the community, you will have access to key information resources - including the IEEE CV web portal , e-newsletter, conferences and other events - plus the opportunity to participate in CV standards development. All of these components will help you stay abreast of new developments in this multi-disciplinary area and keep you at the forefront of research, development and planning.

Sign up today for a complimentary membership to the IEEE CV Technical Community.
