The IEEE Computer Society Enterprise Architecture Special Technical Community (STC) is an open international community of practitioners, researchers and students on Enterprise Architecture within IEEE.

Enterprise Architecting is an emerging field, where the idea of enterprise ranges over things as diverse and far ranging as businesses, projects, communities and other human endeavors. The principles and practices of this new field are being codified now.

The mission of the Enterprise Architecture STC is to connect those interested in EA; facilitate the advance of the state of the art and contribute to best practices; by leveraging the diverse expertise already within the Computer Society - but scattered across various specialties (including but not limited to, software architecture, system architecture, business and information architecture).
