IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society Membership
Focus covers the theoretical, experimental, and operational aspects of electrical and electronics engineering and information technologies as applied to intelligent transportation systems (ITS). ITS are defined as those systems utilizing synergistic technologies and systems engineering concepts to develop and improve transportation systems of all kinds. The Society sponsors the annual Intelligent Transportation Systems Conference (ITSC), the Intelligent Vehicles Symposium (IVS), along with several other smaller conferences including ICVES, SOLI, ISI, and MESA (see ITSS website for details).
