IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE student members—supported by an IEEE Student Branch, advised and proctored by an IEEE member—compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.

Promote IEEEXtreme 10.0 at your school

  • The challenge lasts for 24 hours, starting 22 October 2016 at 00:00:00 UTC, and finishes 24 hours later. For reference, check world times for your exact starting time.
  • Teams should include no more than three (3) IEEE student members (i.e., Student members or Graduate Student members).
  • Student Branches at universities and colleges can form multiple teams.
  • Use IEEEXtreme10.0 as a recruiting tool; encourage students from the Computer Science or Information Technology department to join IEEE and participate in IEEEXtreme.
  • Increase the engagement of your existing student members by encouraging participation in IEEEXtreme competitions.
