Note on 2017 MGM Awards: MGM awards for the 2017 membership year (recruiting activity from 16 August 2016 to 15 August 2017) will be sent by 1 October, 2017 to the email address on your member record. Please ensure your email address is up to date in your profile to ensure you receive this and other important membership information.
For each new member you recruit during the membership year (16 August 2016 through 15 August 2017), you earn an award that can be used toward IEEE dues, IEEE Society fees, or the purchase of books and publications (excludes merchandise and products). Shop the Memberships and Subscriptions Catalog.

Regional awards: The top five recruiters in each IEEE geographic region will earn membership-development awards for their Section to help underwrite the sections’ local programs and activities. Within each region, five awards will be given to the recruiters' section:
Overall IEEE award: The top recruiter in IEEE earns an additional US$500 award for his/her Section.

All members receive four referral cards that are personalized with their names and member numbers in their acknowledgement package when they join or renew each year.
