2010 IEEE Membership & Society Membership Dues
Below you will find the dues associated with membership in IEEE, the world's leading professional engineering organization, as well as for the 38 IEEE societies through which IEEE provides publications, conferences, community, and many other benefits to members within their specialized areas.

- All dues pricing is listed in US Dollars.
- IEEE membership runs from 1 January through 31 December.
- NEW applications received between 16 August 2009 and 28 February 2010 will automatically be processed at the full year dues rates. Services begin immediately.
- NEW applications received between 1 March and 15 August 2010 will automatically be processed for half-year membership ending 31 December 2010 at the half-year dues rates. Exception is when the applicant specifically requests their application be processed for the full year. However, we cannot guarantee availability of back issues of all publications for the first half of the calendar year.
- Membership in IEEE's Technical Societies involves additional dues. See the table below for information on Society membership dues.
- All IEEE members are given online access to Potentials magazine as part of their basic IEEE membership. Student members in the U.S. and Canada receive Potentials in print as part of their dues. For Student members from all other countries and for IEEE Higher grade members who wish to receive a print subscription to Potentials, see rates provided below.

IEEE realizes that economic circumstances may impact some members' ability to pay the full amount of IEEE membership dues. For this reason, the following special circumstance categories have been established. Special circumstances are not available to Student members. Only one category may be claimed in any year.
