In honor of International Women in Engineering Day, IEEE celebrates the following IEEE Award recipients whose work has led to cutting-edge innovations. We honor these recipients who had the vision to see how technology could improve society, the expertise to realize their visions, and the drive to overcome obstacles that stood in their way.

Their work has not only enabled—or improved—current technology but also has inspired future engineers to improve upon their work to make their marks in science, technology, or education.

2023 IEEE President’s Award: Doreen Bogdan-Martin

This IEEE member has championed global connectivity and digital inclusion for over three decades.
